Graduate capsule collection in collaboration with fellow Naba student Ipek Cara, AY 2020/2021
The collection is built around kindness. The aim is to propose kindness as a tool to face social issues and self-identity struggles, as an act of bravery and true punk rebellion.
Healing starts from how we treat one another, validating the identity and life choices of others comes back to us in a positive circle. This process must start within ourselves, with the way we express our own identity, free of rules and judgment.

The collection is beyond gender specificity, the wearer is free to play with the different pieces and find what feels the most kind to them. Soft elastic details and generous volumes define a playful sense of familiarity. The majority of fabrics included in the collection are up-cycled and repurposed materials, limiting the consuming of new resources.
Soft and warm textures envelop the garments in a sense of comfort and safety, in sharp contrast to the structured feeling of up-cycled military tent material.
The heart shaped motif ties the collection together marking once again the light and ironic approach of the project.

Up-cycled quilted blanket crop top with elastic hem and wide long sleeves. Long soft jersey skirt with military tent material waistband and ruched elastic along the back.
Up-cycled boiled wool sleeveless long vest with original blanket trim finishing, back slit and 3D heart shaped boiled wool patches appliques in contrasting color.
This collection was selected to be showcased among other student projects during Planet Dresses - The NABA Campus Fashion View 2021 and for the following Fashion Graduate Italia 2021 show among other fashion schools.
